Over the years, I've also become a trainer, mentor, and even shop manager, surrounded by passionate people who live and breathe coffee. This blog exists so I can share all the things I've learned over those decades in the trenches—lessons, errors, tips, anecdotes, and the sort of insight you can only accumulate by being elbow-deep in espresso grounds. I write each piece myself, with the aim of demystifying specialty coffee for all—for the seasoned baristas who've seen it all, but also for the interested newcomers who are still discovering the magic of the coffee world.
